I had the honor of photographing a couple on the brink of a life-changing moment: their approval for adoption. This session was about more than just taking beautiful pictures; it was about capturing the hope, love, and anticipation of two people ready to welcome children into their hearts and home.

Jupiter, Florida, offers a myriad of stunning backdrops, and for this session, we chose a mix of serene beachscapes and lush, green parks. The natural beauty of these locations not only provided a scenic backdrop but also symbolized the growth and new beginnings that the couple was eagerly awaiting.

Adoption is not for the faint of heart. It requires a lot of commitment, resources and determination. Watching this couple buckle in for the long haul has been so inspirational. The checklist of pictures was a long process of planning so that when we met, we knew exactly what needed to happen. They were so prepared and ready for every pose!

We took the last amount of sunlight to make the session about the two of them. I had this vision of soft, dreamy light with salty ocean splashed clothing. There wasn't much setup for it: Just two people who love eachother, like to explore and were up for the candid moments.
