It always feels like a mini vacation going to The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL. I've had the privilege to do a number of sessions there doing event decor photography and now more recently, a family session! The Breakers is a dream location for a family session because they have such a versatile selection of areas. There's the beach, the walkways with gorgeous and well maintained grassy areas overlooking the ocean, walkways around the hotel and just that gorgeous old world charm that the hotel is known for displaying. Not to mention, that beautiful glow of the sun we encountered on the day we met! Dreamy, magical light that almost hugs you in the picture!

I love talking with my clients and making sure they are happy with the images I give them. One way I try to do this is by learning about which pictures really speak to them. I love asking clients which images are their favorite because I learn so much from seeing an image from someone else's point of view! As a photographer, we can be biased when it comes to our work because photography is very subjective and emotional. Being able to keep an open mind and trying to capture what I think each client would love keeps me flexible and allows me to be more creative. Listening to others only helps me grow and create better work! 

I asked this gorgeous mother what her favorite pictures were and this is what she said:

"To me, this symbolizes that he has no inhibitions and is ready to take on the world!"

"This photo really shows how much love we have to each other.  Nothing else mattered in this moment than us being together"

And that, right there, is why I love doing what I do.
